This absolutely stunning OOAK (one-of-a-kind) bee necklace was handcrafted over many hours which turned into weeks and those weeks turned into months of hard work to make this piece exactly how I wanted it to look. 
I handcrafted every single component on this necklace using high quality .925 solid sterling silver and .999 fine silver wire and sheet metal. To start off making this piece I made the frame, soldered it and hammered it with texture. I also cut out and soldered the bezels for the beautiful golden rutile garden quartz stone and faceted citrine gemstone in the bee. I drew and cut out the shape of the bee using a jewelers saw and solid sterling silver sheet metal I also stamped/shaped out the moons on each of the bee wings and soldered them together. I made/shaped/soldered each of the hexagons out of wire. After I had all my components made I soldered them all together on my frame. I did some engraving on the bee to give it more character. The last step was to seat my stones. This piece was oxidized and polished for a darker antiqued look for more depth and dimension.
